Brush HS Debate Team Receives Top Honors in Recent Competition

The Brush HS Debate Team revealed tremendous growth and skill by winning several top honors at the 2012-2013 Cleveland Urban Debate League (CLOUD) competition, which was held at John Carroll University on February 16th. Brush High School was named the top school in the league, as it featured two top finishing teams. The First Place Team featured sophomores Anna Mancino and Aaron Hill, while the team led by senior Jaylin Cody and sophomore Chris Ladaika earned second-place honors. In addition, several students on the 20-member team earned Speaker Awards, including sophomore Chris Ladaika (First Speaker), sophomore Anna Mancino (Second Speaker), senior Jaylin Cody (Third Speaker), and freshman Yehousof Brown (Tenth Speaker). This exciting news occurs at the completion of what has become a historic season for the Brush HS Debate Team!
