MAC Food Drive Yields 385 Pounds of Peanut Butter and Jelly

This past Friday, MAC Diamonds and MAC Scholars delivered 385 pounds of peanut butter and jelly to the Cleveland Food Bank. The donation was the result of a 5-day “food fight” food drive sponsored by the MAC program. To clarify, there was not any tossing of peanut butter and jelly in the cafeteria, but the Brush ladies were asked to donate jars of jelly and Brush males were asked to donate jars of peanut butter. The result was 108 jars of peanut butter and 137 jars of jelly collected in an effort to fight hunger in the Greater Cleveland Area. Students of the MAC Program have decided to make the “food fight” an annual event, so next year “it’s on!”

Thank you Brush students and faculty. Once again you have proven that Brush Rocks!
