MJH Hosts Mid-Spring Fun Fest

MJH Mid Spring Fun Fest

On March 5, 2024, Memorial Junior Hight hosted an exciting Mid-Spring Fun Fest that was sponsored by the school’s Building Climate Committee and open to all students who set a positive example by meeting all specified behavior criteria. To kick off the festivities, the school hosted a “Start with Hello Week” which provided staff and students opportunities to show teamwork, unity and support each day of the week. On Monday, members of the school community were encouraged to say hello to someone different and wear yellow apparel. Tuesday’s theme was the “Time is always right to do the right thing” and students and staff proudly displayed their team’s colors. On Wednesday, Memorial Junior High was a sea of green colored clothes worn to reflect the day’s theme of performing one act of random kindness. For Thursday, March 7th, students and staff wore blue to celebrate “doing the right thing” at all times and on Friday, March 8th, the entire school wore their favorite Arc Gear to reinforce the theme of “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!” One of the top highlights of “Start with Hello Week” was the Student vs. Staff Handball Tournament which brought forth cheers along with a strong display of Arc Pride and school unity. The teachers, staff, and administrators are all immensely proud of our students who worked hard and met the criteria to participate in the event. Keep up the excellent work MJH Students!
