Band members at Memorial Junior High School delivered unforgettable performances during a concert held on March 7th in the new gymnasium. Under the direction of music teacher Mr. John Shamp, the students provided families with an enjoyable evening of music that displayed their dedication and talent. The concert started off with the seventh-grade ensemble playing Colossus, Forever Flying, Of Distant Peaks and The Tempest. The eighth-grade band played Legend of the Eagles, Cayuga Lake Overture and Fire in the Night Sky. The concert received high praise from all in attendance and was a wonderful treat to end the quarter. The Memorial Junior High School community looks forward with anticipation to the students’ last concert of the year in the spring.
