Brush Varsity Football Team Visits District Buildings in Advance of Playoff Game image Brush Varsity Football Team Visits District Buildings in Advance of Playoff Game

The entire Brush Varsity Football team and Varsity football cheerleading squad traveled by bus to each of the district’s school buildings on Friday, November 10th.  The visit was intended to provide students across the district a chance to meet and encourage the football team in advance of their next playoff game later that evening. Members of the cheerleading squad led the spirited procession into each building, and were followed by the football team along with Coach Fink and Mr. Baxter. Students and staff lined the hallways outside their classrooms, and demonstrated their ‘Arc Pride’ by holding handmade signs while cheering and applauding the football team.

SEL Arc Pride Newsletter to Be Mailed Soon! image SEL Arc Pride Newsletter to Be Mailed Soon!
Technology, innovation and an emphasis on STEM has been an important focus in our schools over the last several months, and is the main topic showcased in the Arc Pride Fall 2017 newsletter. Hitting mailboxes in the near future, the newsletter features stories from each of the buildings and a summary of the role that technology is playing in the classrooms. Students are using interactive technology to read stories, perform complex math and science problems and collaborate in small groups. The district’s 1-to-1 Chromebook rollout, where students in grades 2 thru 12 will each have access to their very own Chromebook, is explained as well. For a sneak preview click here.
