Sunview Elementary School Hosts its Third Annual Career Fair image Sunview Elementary School Hosts its Third Annual Career Fair

Sunview Elementary School recently hosted its 3rd annual Career Day, by inviting eight professionals from a variety of sectors in to visit with students. Those professionals toured various classrooms and gave students a real-world application of the 21st century skills that they have been working on this school year, including communication, collaboration and effective listening. Students were quite inquisitive and eager to record new information in their Career Day Passports, another project that they have been working on throughout the year. The SEL Schools would like to thank all of those who were involved with making this day a reality for the third consecutive year.

3rd grade Ambassadors in the MAC program at Sunview Elementary recently had the opportunity to visit the South Euclid Municipal Court complex and spend the morning with Judge Gayle Williams-Byers. The visit was an informative and engaging learning experience that provided students a firsthand look at how the legal system and judicial branch of local government operates. Judge Williams-Byers provided lunch for the students and encouraged them about the importance of academic achievement and civic responsibility. 3rd grade ambassadors from the MAC program at Adrian and Rowland Elementary also visited with Judge Williams-Byers on separate days.
