Rowland Elementary School Hosts Special Community Visitor

As part of its continued partnership with the nearby community, Rowland Elementary School second graders had two special guests in their classroom last week, to help promote safety. South Euclid Police Department Officer Mike Fink and his partner, K9 Kolbe, visited Mrs. Grande’s second grade class in honor of Red Ribbon Week, which helps promote community awareness and safe practices. Officer Fink shared some of his experience as a police officer, and also as a trainer of police dogs, which play a vital role in helping to prevent various crimes. In addition, Officer Fink and K9 Kolbe shared safety tips, discussed just how the two work together on a day-to-day basis and performed several live demonstrations. Thank you to the South Euclid Police Department and Officer Mike Fink and K9 Kolbe for their time with the students at Rowland Elementary School.
