The entire Brush Varsity Football team and Varsity football cheerleading squad traveled by bus to each of the district’s school buildings on Friday, November 10th.  The visit was intended to provide students across the district a chance to meet and encourage the football team in advance of their next playoff game later that evening. Members of the cheerleading squad led the spirited procession into each building, and were followed by the football team along with Coach Fink and Mr. Baxter. Students and staff lined the hallways outside their classrooms, and demonstrated their ‘Arc Pride’ by holding handmade signs while cheering and applauding the football team.

Students and staff displayed their patriotism by wearing red, white and blue clothing.  In addition, staff members participated in Jeans for Troops, a nationwide dress down day sponsored by GI GO Fund, which uses donations to support veterans through employment and housing assistance, as well as education and healthcare benefits.  Over twenty veterans attended the program, all of whom have family members who attend or work at Rowland.
